Ahem, if you will excuse me, I've just used up all my intelligent thinking for the rest of the day. And the great part is, I wasn't looking for a perfect title, flipping through the dictonary, the word came to my mind and the desciption was a perfect match. This, would be the perfect name for the book. This is a song celebrating the life of a living creature, and mourning its passing. A requiem is a song, a lament for the dead. The word means "a Mass for a dead person or persons, or a solemn chant for the repose of the dead". As for the name, I just finished rereading Epic (by just finished, I mean I literaly just finished a minute ago) and near the end, I came up with a great name for the third book. And in the second book, it didn't feel the same as the first, not bad, just not what I was expecting. The atmosphere appealed to me and I really liked Erik. 'A captivating page-turner.' Edda has all the exciting elements of avatars, mythical beings, magic, and cataclysmic battles, but also challenges the older reader to think deeply about humanity, power and politics.
